This policy explains what BeatRootRaga collects when you use the site and the tools, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Last updated 1 October 2026.
Who we are
BeatRootRaga is an independent music label and audio technology platform from India, operating this website at beatrootraga.com.
Audio you process in the browser
The audio converter, MP3 cutter, ringtone maker, tuner, BPM finder and metronome run entirely in your browser. The files you open and the sound the tuner hears never leave your device, are not uploaded, and are not stored by us.
Audio you upload for mastering or stem separation
Mastering and stem separation send the file to our servers, where it is processed for that job and the result is made available to you. Files and results are kept only as long as needed to deliver them and to let you download them from your dashboard, then removed. We do not listen to, share, sell or use your recordings for any other purpose, including training models.
Accounts
If you create an account we store the email address and name you give us, and the record of the jobs you ran, so that your results appear in your dashboard. Passwords are stored only as hashes. If you sign in with Google, we receive the name and email address Google shares and nothing else.
Messages and submissions
What you send through the contact form or the music submission form is kept so that we can reply and, for submissions, evaluate the track. Submitted music is not released or used without an agreement with you.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages and tools are used, and Google AdSense may show advertising on some pages. These services set cookies and receive technical information such as browser type, approximate location and the pages visited. You can block cookies in your browser; the tools keep working without them.
Technical logs
Our servers keep short-lived logs of requests, including IP addresses, for security and to fix faults. Logs never contain audio, passwords or the content of messages.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the service providers that run the site (hosting, email delivery, analytics), only as needed to operate it, or when the law requires.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and delete your account. Send the request through the contact page and we will act on it.
Children
The site is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their details. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes
When this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new date at the top.
